I am hoping someone might be able to help, I have been asked to reinstall Windows 7 Home Premium on a friends laptop. She has the Win 7 Home Premium Licence code sticker on the base of the laptop (I can supply a photo if someone wants to confirm this) but she says she does not have (or more likely can't find) the installation disk. There is no problem with getting the correct drivers for the Laptop but I just need a copy of the installation disk to enable me to restore the computer.

I have a copy of Windows 7 Professional 64 Bit, but this won't work with the Home Premium Licence Key. I will of course be willing to cover any costs incurred plus a little extra for a drink.

If you have the windows product key then just download the version of win 7 you need and burn it to DVD yourself.

Thanks ever so much, I am downloading the correct one now.
 
Possibly her install has one of those recovery partitions with all the gubbins on it, hence the lack of disk. Not that I've ever managed to get one to work, mind you...
