Hello,
I wasn't sure whether to put this in the new people's section but I plumped for here.
I am looking for a new camera. Trouble is that I read a review which says that one is great....and the next review says it's not so great. I suppose that happens.
My requirements are, I hope, quite simple.
I need something that I can take on holiday. Not too big. So am thinking travel zoom. I have had two strokes so I can't handle large heavy cameras and the stabilisation needs to be decent. I don't wobble but it can happen. Would like a decent zoom because often in the past I've not been able to get quite as close to things and have missed out on a few shots.
Don't do much in low light but the occasional sunset or moody temple interior has found its way into my albums. Not looking for any thing too fancy in terms of special effects or high ISO as I very rarely go beyond 400 but I might be tempted to experiment as I enjoy taking pictures.
I've used mainly standard Panasonic LUMIX compacts in the past but my last camera is literally a point and click with a maximum 55mm zoom, and it's several years old now.
Budgets around £300-350 if that helps.
Thanks
