Looking for places to visit (Stirling / Oban)...

Hi,

We're off to Stirling next week for 3 days then staying in the Oban area for 7 days after that. I wondered if anyone could recommend some must see places to visit and areas to shoot some great scenery around there ?

I spent my 40th Birthday this year up in that area (it's the ancestral home of the Campbells!)

Oban has a lovely harbour

And you can drive up the coast to Loch Linnhe

Loch Etive has some good stuff and you can't really go wrong. The weather was terrible when I was there but I still got some shots - and the single malts more than made up for the cold and rain!

Surprised that a Campbell wants to remember Glencoe but Nigel is absolutely correct Etive and area is a great place to stop and spend time rather than drive through.

The coast at Oban should provide plenty opportunity as well.

We look forward to your return and your "scout" ahead of the Scottish meet next month.
