Got some money from an insurance claim, and my spilt from it was 350 quid :)

I want to get a new Monitor to hook my MacbookPro up to. In this money i want to get the Apple Wireless Keyboard and a Magic Trackpad, which takes 100 quid or so, and i need to get a display cable as well. Amazon have some Straight MiniDP to DVI/VGA so need to get one of them as well.

What i'm looking for in the monitor is basically a high res, 1900x1200 or better. Not bothered about actual size tbh. Would also like a few inputs.

Any ideas?

Simon

You could get two of these for a nice dual screen IPS setup ('Enhanced IPS') at a total cost of £252 (plus it's direct from Amazon). Quality of this monitor is excellent, I've got one and love it.

I've actually moved away from using Dual Monitors, i still have my pair of 17'' Dells, but using them made me really unproductive, to easy to throw a film or TV show on the second. I'd rather work on one Larger Screen, and just spilt windows, or use virtual desktops.

The only time i've found have two screens really useful is when recording live sound/music, which i do at school and other places fairly often. Keeping a Virtual Mixer and Timeline on separate screens, is useful.
