Looking for good photographic shop in the Glasgow area

I'm looking for some advice on where is a good place to shop for photographic kit at a reasonable price in the Glasgow area please

There's only really Calumet, which is reasonable. And merchant city cameras, which are not bad for used gear. Im not sure on other places (if there is any)

The only problem with Calumet in Glasgow is that they are very CaNikon-centric for photo so if you want to see Olympus/Panasonic/Pentax/ or Sony you'll probably be disappointed.
They are having an open day on 4th of April.

do you mean their own-label or just their general stock?
Certainly expect Manfrotto to be at the open day.

More along the lines of general stock but hopefully giottos, vanguard and manfrotto as they have ones I'm interested in.

When I was in Calumet last month they had a few tripods but not loads. They used to stock Gitzo but not anymore.

I think most of their tripods were their own brand but I think they had some Giottos.

Give them a call and ask what they have. If you're phoning ask for Alex (pronounced Alec). He deals with all of the Canon stuff but also everything else and his customer service is great. When i buy my 1Dx he'll be getting the business.
