Had a quick google, but not found something yet!

I would like to send out an email shot to old customers with a few messages on... updated website, special offers and the like. Also looking to send out a follow up to some older emails sent out.

I use Apple Mail and often stuff that looks good there looks naff in Outlook or hotmail, so I am looking for a template to use that works with all main emails.

It MUST be easy to use, have no html knowledge or desire to start, and idiot proof! Dont mind paying a few quid but if there are any freebies will take a look. Not after anything really flash, just something that looks good, modern and works!

Mailchimp is excellent & free if you are sending to 500 people or less although there will be a mailchimp logo on each mailout. Worth a look.

I use Bulk Mac Mail which I find does everything I want. I found that using Mac Mail, if an e-mail address was out of date then nothing went out. This allows you to format an HTML e-mail and it sends the mail to the recipients one by one.

If you're sending as a business, Mailchimp doesn't conform to the Data Protection Act, something to consider :)

Good point & very true. As far as I know a UK based business cannot store data outside the EU legally so this is a sticking issue with Mailchimp & other US based email marketing companies.

However, I do know many businesses using US based companies like Mailchimp without problems but as I'm not a lawyer I think I'd take Matt's advice and look for UK alternatives!

Mailchimp looks good but understand the issues.

Trouble is, I will be sending approx. 100 at most every 2-3 months, so have no need for the others i have seen out there?
