Looking for a studio in West End of London ...

I'm planning a quick trip to London in March and I'm hoping to do a bit of studio glamour & nude.

Anyone know of a good studio that's well equipped, is able to provide a range of models, MUA, and tutorials for a days' shoot?

Not used any in that area myself, can you travell while over, I am using a place in East London in feb, is a Warehouse Flat conversion, they hire out as a studio, or if you can travell there is a good place I use allot in Reading, has models, lights, tuition, the guy who runs it is great, do most of my stuff there at the moment. PM if you want details, only other sugestion is Purestorm, Model Mayhem etc. they all list studios for hire.

I've been spending the past few days researching this, but although there are plenty of studios all over London (Soho included), I haven't come across one that offers tuition as well.

But more importantly, I don't want to end up having to book with someone from an online research and then to find out that they're not up to my expectation. Hence, asking here to get some pointers.

I will be all over UK for the duration of my stay, but that's for work, and regrettably I fly out Sunday 20th morning. So, I'd much rather stick to the West End area to avoid any mishaps.

That said, East London is may be doable; but Reading is a bit pushing it for me really.

Would you be kind enough to PM me the details of the guy in Reading?

Model Mayhem / Purestorm, these sites, and most model / studio sites are blocked from access at my end of the world. So, I can't access them until I'm in UK, and that would be too late for me to start booking researching. Ideally I'd like to get this sorted before the end of this month so that I know how to plan that one last day.

Unfortunately I am unable to access most photography studio sites, model sites, etc. as the Internet filters we have in this part of the world seem to associate most glamour & nude studio with porn :shrug:

I can also vouch for Pauls Studio in Reading, I did a course there to get me started and have used it quite a few times since, is well equipped and Paul is a great guy with a lot of Knowledge :thumbs:

Well, I was in UK March 14th - 20th and on the 19th spent the better part of 5 1/2 hours with Paul in his studio. An outstanding gentleman, knows his stuff, and made the whole experience an enjoyable learning process.

An added bonus was having the opportunity to learn a bit about this studio side with a fantastic model, Stana! She's a Playboy Playmate, and what an amazing model, who just added to the wonderful experience by her professional attitude and experience.

To those who've recommended Paul's Studio, a hearty thank you for head's-up :thumbs:
