As title states, I am looking for a Sim only plan. So any advice / recommendations for plans, gratefully received.

I'm looking at

Unlimited/Quite a lot of texts.
500 minutes
500MB internet data.

Also, the plan needs to be to any network minutes. :)

Check out Tesco. I got a good deal for my daughter, a couple of weeks ago.
 
I'm on a £15 pm Vodafone sim only.
300 mins, any time, any network, unlimited texts and 500mb data.
Suits me perfectly as I make very few calls.

Would you mind showing me the plan? I found one that is on special offer for £10, which includes all I've asked for, but it doesn't say about the minutes being used for any network, it just gives a tarriff for those calls. I'm confused. :bang: :lol:

What sort of lock-in period do you want?
I'm using a Three sim only plan @ £10 per month but I only use a few minutes a month (HATE voice calls!) but all their plans give 1GB data as standard. You can get 600 minutes for £15 if you accept a 12 month lock-in.
Another thing to always watch out for is the cost of any "out of plan" usage. One provider wanted 60p per MEG which is pure theft!
 
I just signed up for a tesco mobile one. 750mins, 5000 text 1gb data. £12.50 a month although it is a year contract.

They use the 02 network so coverage is good, or at least it is here!
 
Giffgaff offer the best deal. £10 pm for unlimited texts, 250 minutes cross network and unlimited data (phone use only, no tethering). Out of plan costs are 10p per minute for calls and 6p for texts. MMS are always charge at 16p. 0800/0500s are always free. 0845 etc aren't in allowance and are 12p a min I think. Just noticed you want 500 minutes so no good unless you have skype on your phone...They do offer free GG to GG calls and texts so it could work if you get others you contact regularly to join.

No contract and you can buy a different 'goodybag' each month if your usage changes. Runs on o2 network. It doesn't have a call centre though. All support is online.

If you are a Virgin TV or broadband customer they have some good deals on mobile tariffs.
 
Giffgaff here too! Brilliant network since I joined. Payback system is fantastic. If you want a sim, pm me and once you join we both get five pounds of credit!

I was on giffgaff loved it tbh but their 3g let me down ( runs on o2) i'm now on three and i cant fault them at all, amazing 3g coverage and their sim only deals are great.
