My current 7" Asus tablet has given up the ghost. So i'm in the market for a replacement. Would prefer something around 9"-10" min 1gb memory and 16gb storage. Looking to spend around £120.

Any recommendations?

Thanks in advance.

Yep I have loads of linzapropa high blood pressure tablets ,just make you pee a lot

Hudle 2 inTesco's. Around £100. Decent screen storage upgradeable to 48gb via Mem card slot.

8" Galaxy Tab4 from Argos is £129 or the Amazon Fire HD 8" for the same price, of the two I'd go for the Samsung I reckon.

I think Tesco are discontinuing the Hudl, you can't buy them online any more.

My Samsung tab 3 7" is reduced to book reader status as it is slow as a really really slow thing for anything else and isn't full of apps or anything much.
It has 1gb ram and 8gb storage, I'd look for 2gb ram tbh.

The Hudl 2 was discontinued late last year. I've heard that they're selling for more than their original price now, if you can find one.

My wife has a Hudl 2 and in spite of there being now a spare small iPad about happily sticks to it for its great screen so I'd think if you can still get one it'd be a good purchase.

Some of the big Chinese phone brands are very high spec for the money. I assume there tablets will be also.

Love mine. :-)

Last week I bought a Lenovo Mix 300 10.1" from Currys for £119.99 - so far so good, pretty fast and reliable.
2gb ram, 32gb storage and can add up to 128gb micro sd (I put in a 64gb).
Comes with (detachable) keyboard.
2 USB sockets in keyboard - so don't take it away with you minus the keyboard to save weight, to download photos from your camera like I just did !

Which one did you get?

Oh sorry...my phone is a big ol' Chinese one, but good as it is, it's still only a 5.5" screen.
I meant really don't rule out stuff that's not carrying a "insert fancy brand" name :-)

I have a 7" Google Nexus sitting on the shelf while I use my 5.5" phone for everything. I've gone from (not including laptops) 10" tablet, to 7" tablet to 6.3" phone to 5.5" phone. I think 5.5" is about the best compromise between pocketability and screen size.

I use my phone more than my tablets BUT will still take the tablet on holiday rather than the phone. I find the phone's screen way too small for watching films and don't use my phone on holiday so don't take it!

I have to say 80% of what I do on my phone is read e-books, plus a little simple gaming and web browsing. I went on a weeks course earlier this year and took only the phone with me, the only issue was web browsing which was not ideal but acceptable.
