Looking for a new PAS - Any recommendations?

On our last trip, our Canon Ixus got dropped and to be honest its beyond repair.

Can anyone recommend a good PAS for sub £150?

Its just to keep in the pocket for snaps etc when a DLSR is too cumbersome.

All recommendations considered!

Look for a 2nd hand Canon S90/S95?

I've got a S95 for exactly the same reason as you, its a great little camera.

Another vote for Canon S95 or S90. THe latter can be often bought for less than £100 used, has the same sensor, but lacks stereo mic and has a wobbly mode dial.

Yet another for the S95. Got mine for just over £100 recently and it makes an ideal PAS - light enough to stick in a pocket but with the same control options found on DSLR's and capable of very good photos.

Just bought a Canon SX230 from Currys for £119 for carrying in my pocket. Decent image quality, 14x zoom, various modes including manual, shutter and aperture priority, gps, and all sorts of other bells and whistles that I'll never use. For the money, it's great.
