Looking for a flash

I can't seem to find a reasonable flash for my canon 500d so I'm planning to save up for a canon one, maybe a 320ex or would it be worth saving up just a little more for the 430ex II as I am planning to get the 7d for Christmas?

I do a wide variety of photos as a hobby but I think a flash will open doors to more creativity especially indoor portraits with the bounce capabilities, I do some events at my school every so often as well and those are mainly indoors as well.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks

YongNuo flashguns on ebay are well reviewed and much cheaper than the Canon Flashguns.

would it be advisable to bid for a Canon Speedlite 430EX on ebay used? for under £100, i would like it to be more like £50 but I wont go over £80

I've recently taken ownership of a yongnuo 468II, under £50 brand new, everything the canon offers for half the price.

The different in price between the 580 and the 565 is even greater

your be lucky to get a canon 430ex ii for under £100, now way for under £80 mate, im currently looking for one at the moment, if i come across a good deal will let you know mate
