I recently saw that 10Ds are going for under £200. Leaves you £80 for a kit lens.

i havent been into photography that long but im lonning to get a better camera than what i have ( hp photosmart 35 3.1 mp ) it dosent take good pictures so really anything with more mp than that

Probably best you could get for the money would be Sony A200 (£250 on ebay)

im more into taking pictures of buildings and landscapes in a years time i will be helping take pictures of sports activities for a magazine in school

As above, Sony A200 or Nikon D40, as I have - been nothing but happy with mine so far
