Hi All,

I am on the look out for a bag that can hold, and offer some protection to, a D90 +18-200mm lens, flash, 15.6 inch laptop, associated leads and spare batteries, pens & paper.

Anyone have any thought's, ideas or suggestions?

I am not wanting to break the bank either ;)

Thanks in advance.

Take care,

Keith

I'm not qualified to be specific, but what about Crumpler ... Billingham ... Think Tank??? Research their internal sizes to make a shortlist. Then look for used ones on ebay??

Hi Keith

Are you after a shoulder or back pack style bag? This may help with suggestions.

Hi Kev,

Not overly fussed if i'm honest.

I already have a Lowepro Fastpack 300 with all my kit in it buy it weighs far to much to lug around all day so am just looking for something for the kit listed above.

Take care,

Keith

Keith,

I was looking at the lowepro event messenger 250, which looks like a good bag but I don't think your laptop would fit. Gary Coyle has it and it holds his d800+lenses and a small laptop.

Have a look on line of it is any good for you.

Gary's post is here

Any existing messenger bag with a laptop section + padded camera insert?

Thanks for all the help guys

Have just ordered a Manfrotto Stile Unica VII

The Lowepro classified 250 is a decent bag and can be had for a good price. It has a dedicated laptop section too. One in the classifieds (not mine and I don't know the person selling).

I’d highly recommend the Lowepro Fastpack series as mentioned above, I have the Fastpack 100 for portability but a mate has the 250 and it’s huge - easily big enough for what you’ve mentioned plus quite a bit more.
