Hi everyone,
So im not new to photography, but have very limited kit, have survived with my 50mm 1.4 for years but im desperate to get a 70-200 2.8 for my nikon d80 and d7000. Does anyone know where i can buy a used one? preferably not paying more than £500? i know its asking a lot sorry.

Have you looked that this forums Classified? You can check on what is selling or add something to the Wanted section!
 
Doubt you'll get a Nikon in your budget, MPB have some Sigmas starting just over budget :)
 
Add Ffordes to Twist's list as well.

Realistically, £500 might be a stretch but if you can find one, the OS version of the Sigma is a very good lens. Don't discount the older Nikon 80-200's as well.

You won't get a Nikon 70-200 2.8 in your budget perhaps consider the older 80-200 2.8 af-d's?

OP is a newcomer, so no access to TP classifieds yet. But that's certainly a brilliant place to buy and sell :thumbs:

I didn't know that, what are the restrictions (is it time or messages)? I've not used them either, just watched items I can't afford been sold :(
