Looking at a new camera

Video holds no interest for me at all yet all of the mirrorless cameras have this built in. My photography is all about stills and looking for a new camera that can be hand-held in low light and still capture good images. Initally, I was looking at the R6 mkii but the R6 is cheaper. If you were taking stills would the mkii offer any advantages over the R6?
I'm thinking in terms of the image stabilization as well as higher ISO to enable me to get by without a tripod except on special occasions. I would appreciate any advice you would care to give. Thank you.

From my limited understanding, the differences for still photography between the 6 and 6ii will be autofocus performance for moving subjects. If that's not going to be a requirement for you, everything I've read and images I've seen from the R6 have been excellent.

And just to put detail on the AF differences; The R6 is miraculous - the R6II better than that.

This highlights the main differences. For many the differences aren't enough to warranty the extra cost of the Mark II, but it depends on what you want to shoot, what your expectations are and how much you want the new fangled tech.
