Look what I've just got

Cabanas - the original had melon in and were really nice
Texan Bars - Takes time to chew

And I used to like Pacers like opal fruits (starburst is a stooopid name) but white with green stripes (spearmint and peppermint)

Thought I'd just pop in to say I had another Wispa today.. It had been in the fridge nice and cold..:)

Beeeeeautiful..

Apparently Cadbury's are not selling enough chocolate to adults of a certain age. Their marketing people came up with the idea of reviving a few of the products from the 80s and promoting a nostalgic response. It seems to have worked, as soon as a shop gets a supply of Wispas in they fly out. Can't remember the price back then but I bet it wasn't nearly 50p!

Can anyone remember Aztec bars?

Wasn't it just like an aero!

More importantly are they the same size? Not like wagon wheels that shrink every year!

Can you still get Topics..... Remember the advert "What's got a hazlenut in every bite.......... Squirrel poo".

And of course there were those awfully sickly things looked like a pile of dog poo, puke making inner filling with a bloody ( half) walnut stuck on top, laideees and gentilmin, I give you the "Walnut whip" :gag:

ZOMG! I was just about to say that as I wondered into this thread!

Fuse bars were the food of Gods. There is no two ways about it. Such a shame they were discontinued :( Made me a sad Woody.

OMG! I remember them, infact they were my favorite chocolate bar! I really want one now :'(

Did anyone else prefer Double Deckers when they had raisins in them or should I just :coat:
I loved the original Double Deckers, they seemed to be raisins and cornflakes in the base. Every time I have one now, the rice and chocolate base is a disappointment. Still nice, but a slight disappointment non the less.

I liked Wispas too, and saw a couple of boxes in Netto last week, but hadn't realised they had been discontinued. I just thought my local newsagent had stopped stocking them. I shall have to seek one out to see how in compares to the memory. ;)

And that's one bar btw, not one box. Despite what I look like in real life . ;)

It's a good move by the chocolate bar manufacturers to try out bars they have discontinued, though you would have thought that if they have discontinued a range, it was because it was not selling. So any re-appearance could be temporary after the initial nostalgia trip.

I am currently selling Bovetti bars at £3 a pop in the deli. Bloody lovely they are but I reserve a place in my heart for a Caramel bar (but maybe it was the sexy voiced rabbit that was in the advert that I remember more :D)

It just sold for £2550:eek:

Yup, someone sent me the link on MSN

It must be melted by now, the nets too hot around it :D
