I bought a Praktica LLC in 1973 - about £50.
I still have it, first the meter went so I bought a hand held meter and learnt about exposure.

Then the frame counter went so I learnt how to count.

Then the mirror started sticking up - cleared by using the timer although you could not see what you were taking because the mirror was up.

I have to admit that I did drop it a few times.
Pentacon lenses were quite good, and you have a nifty fifty!
The LLC which I have allows TTL metering with the lens wide open, it has electrical contacts to signal the aperture opening from the lens to the camera, I believe that your's meters with the aperture shut down, that may be why it is shut down in the picture.
Great little camera, not worth that much and quite a few on fleabay - have fun.
