Yes
I have sainsbury's shirts and the length is just too short. Every time I sit down the sides have come out of my waist band. For £16 I suppose you get what you pay for. But does anyone know of a longer shirt from somewhere that doesnt cost the earth?

Or do I have to invest in these?

haha weird.
are you portly by any chance?
I wear mainly short sleeve shirts as I am an IT office chimpo and find tescos ones to be quite long.

M&S seem long enough for me, hang to near bottom of me pants (inner ones not outer American ones!) i.e. to where they measure your inside leg to, eh up careful.

I have a thick head neck so need an 18" collar. I get shirts from Primark when they have big enough ones in stock (I usually clear them out of the big ones!) and they're long enough for me (also a little further round the middle than I should be!)

Have you tried Charles Tyrwhitt? I believe their "classic" fit has a longer tail.

They do, but the fit is akin to a ship of the line under full sail! Decent shirts though, several fits and you can specify collar size and sleeve length.

Yup, I've been wearing CT shirts to work for nigh on 15 years now.
Slim fit non-iron with a French (double) cuff for me :)

CT generally have some sort of sale on, but now and again they have really good ones. Sign up on their website and they'll send you a brochure, or mail you, when the big discounts start.

I love stockings and suspenders but only on women ,that’s taking the p***

Another vote for Charles Trywhitt. I am 6 foot 5 inches tall with a very long body and their shirts fit a treat.

TM Lewin, Charles Tyrwhitt and Hawes&Curtis all have different sized collars in various fits and sleeve lengths which mean that short round men like me can find one that fits. They do longer fits too. They normally have 5 for £100 offers or similar so not far off £16 OP paid.

Also I much prefer a ‘tailed’ classic shirt to the modern square cut.
This could be half the problem, although even on the tailed shirts, the sides are stil shorter so maybe they would still ride up out of the waistband.
I'll have to invest in one and see I guess.

See if you have a branch of Slaters Menswear near you. I have a 21" neck, and short body. Standard shirts look horrendous on me, but I buy my shirts from Slaters and they do any alterations required free of charge. It means I wait a week to collect them, but much better than having a huge tuck at each side. They're long enough to sit on the end of the tail.

Another plug for CT (they don't pay me, honest) - they have an excellent 'no quibble' return policy.

Depends how you define it. I've never set foot in a gym...
I'm 6'1", 42" chest, 35" waist, 83kg. Blue eyes, likes roaring fires, long walks on the beach etc...

Shame about the SoH! :P

What a round chocolate and nut sweet? Odd model to use but I suppose if it works who am I to criticise.

Ive had this problem for years. I then discovered undershirts. Tuck the undershirt into your boxers and hey presto, shirt stays in.has the added benefit of saving you from embarrassing sweat stains under the pits
