I can't think of the name for it, which would probably have made the google search a lot easier.

It's my mate's 18th birthday and we'd like to get him something special.

So we've decided to get him a whiskey glass with his initials and happy 18th on it, but I haven't a clue where I can get it done.

Can anyone help?

Even with just the proper name for the process!
 
Don't most Canon L glass owners get their initials monogrammed in the middle of the front element? ;)
 
If you are talking about Whisky(as in Scotch Whisky) as apposed to Whiskey(Jack Daniels), then you might want to give him something special to go along with his glass.

Blatant product promotion

I've arranged this for a few people and the look on their faces are a picture.

Of course they need to be familiar with the product and what it should look like to appriciate it.

Nasty sickly sugary muck. That stuff wi the broon burd on the label is just for the tourists. This is a real whisky(more blatant product placement).
