Long shot [post edited]

yeah i know what you mean mate. my school found out what i was doing for the hospital and thought that was very brave and considerate,

they desided to raise money for me they raised 2500 and sent me to australia for 2 months, i went with my dad as he use to live there all my family has been except me.

i also won an award and went to the caribean with a group called free spirit i was the first person in the south west to go which was vwery cool as they only ever took people form bristol upwards...

i think i know free spirit. I teach kitesurfing and compete on the side, but i teach a group of volunteers every couple of months and im pritty sure it was free spirit just before i broke my leg and came back to the UK.

For sure i think that going through so much when your young and cant help yourself you should be given as much as possible to compensate for having a difficult period in your teenage years.

geez shaun. thats bad. but u pulled through. but to look on the brightside the stuff that happened to you made you into the man you are today. my cousin developed cancer when he 12 i think or 13 it was in his lungs, it was his twin.

they are pretty well known you prob would... i do agree with you but all i want to do now is just get my head down work to gain something as every time i have tried i have been shot down wiether its a learning at college or in work employers look at me as a hazard (equal op is a joke there is always something they can say to get out of it.... hense why im in call centers all the time) i dont mean to affend any one if you work in one.

i have put myself back in to college a number of time to try and better my self but every time i did i got cancer back so im thinking im not built for schools lol i stay clear of them lol.... this is the only thing i have found that i have managed to get along with a learn it might be a slow process but ill get there in the end... i wanted to go to a evening course to do photography but not sure if its a good idea lol...

dont let it put u off the illness was just coincidence but i know how your mind can link it

I did, I came back from the Caribean with a bad operation to a badly broken leg, had antoher op to have the metal taken out they left it so i did what they said which landed me another broken leg whilst i "tried" to run, had another op for more metal now and as soon as i could kind of walk i enrolled on an evening photography course to kill time after physio and work but also to feel better about doing something constructive while im back in the UK.

I can honestly say i was awesome. I learnt loads about more that clicking the shutter, i now use manual only and it was only once a week in the evening for 3 hours and a 12 week course. Higly recommend it to anyone who cant afford to go back to school/uni...
