Planning to stay in London for a few days this summer. I've never visited the tourist areas like Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, Tower Bridge or any of the other landmarks.

We're trying to work out where to stay. Any suggestions for hotels would be welcome.

My wife and daughter stayed at International Hall which is very central. University accommodation, so not a hotel, but very good prices which frees up cash for what you want to do.
Big buffet breakfast which is included. There's a microwave and a kettle and that's your lot :)

My last 3 visits to London I stayed at the park plaza Victoria, my next visit will be back there. Rooms are spotless, big comfy beds, friendly staff. Breakfast is good too, evening meals we usually eat out. A 2 min walk to Victoria station for train, tube or bus
