Any Londoners here on TP know what approximate fare would be in a London black taxicab from Covent garden area to Wembley stadium, this would be on a Friday evening.
 
Problem would be traffic at that time of day and hence anything from £25 to upwards of £40.

Are you interested in getting there quickly or easily? Easy by cab but can be long.

Alternatively, if you haven't done so, create a Uber account and get your first journey free (if that offer is still available).
 
4 of us sharing so fare will be split, also looking for the easy way. Let the driver take the hassle, will look into the Uber account though thanks, are they reliable I've never used them before.
 
I'd use Uber absolutely. The app is great. I use them all the time in London. No need for cash either. Cars are much more comfortable. Also used them in Amsterdam and Paris. It's my first choice of taxi service.
 
Uber is almost always cheaper. Can split the fare too (never tried four people though) That said its only a single change on the tube
 
How far is the walk from the nearest tube stn to Wembley Stadium?
 
Not very, depending on where you are in the stadium a hundred meters or so. When they rebuilt they made it very easy to access Wembley by tube

It was easy to access by the tube before they rebuilt it. There is one station at the end and to the right of Wembley Way and the other is just around the corner, both within 10 minutes walk.
