Hi guys,

My good friend is getting married and is looking for a photographer specialising in Indian wedding photography.

He needs someone to cover events in London and Birmingham on 1st and 8th July 2013.

Can you please recommend someone or offer your services here? I will then pass the links to websites to my friend.

Thanks!

Seb

My brother in law had good things to say about Amar at reminisce photography. Does a fair few Indian weddings. He was also a lovely chap to talk to. He covered the civil ceremony in London, the traditional ceremony and various other bits (mendhi etc) in Cardiff. I've no idea about cost!

Hope that helps

Thanks for the mention kelack, yes I do specialise in Indian weddings (of all types), I also know Jayesh well too hes a great photographer.

If you want the very best (imho) then Sanjay Jogia at eyejogia.com is the one to get in touch with.

Mine were done by Bipin Dattani. A quick search will find his site. Can't fault his work.

Silly question, what is an Indian wedding? I mean why put the Indian in the wedding? hmmm I don't think I am phrasing the question correctly ... last try :-) what is so special about Indian wedding that you have to ask for Indian Wedding photographer/photography? I must admit I have never been to one ...

A lot.

Indian weddings are very unique with specific traditions happening in a certain order so you have to know exactly what is happening and when.

got you ... thanks. just went on youtube and watched few. Wow, very challenging, and all those colours .... I'd love to be in one of them ... :-). You are right forgot about traditions and order ...

I'd highly recommend The Event Guru (eg. http://www.theeventguru.co.uk/). Sam got long experience photographing Indian weddings and both his dad and grandfather was photographers. He use top end equipment with Leica lenses and have shoot all types of Indian weddings. He truly know how to capture all the colours as well. Prices start from only £699.
