So who would like to start a club... I'd join. :lol:

I like the idea of Jonnys club but it’s the wrong side of London for me. I've always wanted to join a club, but never really wanted to fully arrange one, so I need help If you guys would like to utilise this opportunity.

I've introduced the idea of a photographic club with a chap I half know in space management at a prime spot in the London Docklands...turns out he loves the idea... and has offered space :D …we may have to be room flexible from time to time, as paying clients come first.. Easy stuff it’s a big place.

So... How about a free conference room, on its own wharf, overlooking the Thames, small beach when the tides out, some sand :lol: ... with views across to millennium dome, free parking and within walking distance from Canary wharf....etc.. :woot:

It really is a prime spot... can't quite put into words how ideal....


Anyone interested?

Well I work in the City and live in Herts and don't really get back in time to be able to make it to any clubs near home. I would be interested in this :)

I think that the location is nice, but how many members are in London?

Going to canary wharf at the mo is a bit of a pain, but come sept. it'll be ideal :D (Office relocation)
 
I think there’s a few of us in the Greater London area, could easily be suitable travel wise to cover the whole of Essex, possibly Kent as well, since the new fast A13 runs right up to the wharf all the way from the m25, and, for Kent the Blackwall tunnel is next right door.


This thread needs a few days to collect views and stuff. I feel we need several members to want this to happen and all to make it happen. I have to write a brief on our clubs possible future activates in order to secure the generous offer for years to come. I won't do this unless we want really want this location, for obvious reasons.

Always thought clubs were not my thing but I am interested and free parking sounds good too :)

Not yet Robert, what do you fancy.... friday night and the weekends are not really good for me.

Seems my BB conection is down for 'x' amount of time guys, the snow seems to have affected the local exchange.... :( .... im in a local internet cafe, nicely steamed up and smelly :gag: ...back when I can.
 
I'm a man of leisure now so anytime* is OK for me.

Good point about the A13. I might be interested on the basis of coming along occasionally depending which night you chose, but wouldn't make it regularly.
 
Yeah I'd be interested for sure. Canary Woof is only 10 mins away

I was hoping many of the Essex togs and even around to Hertfordshire, just up the M11 etc .....I would consider it.... really very quick for you all.... not forgetting the North Circular around to Enfield...just a quick dash after the rush hours....3/4 of an hour in a car I would think.
