Lomography

There are a few adherents here, some even intentional

I've got a Diana F+ which I rarely use, but I have to say if you're going for a lowfi effect, doing it in PS just doesn't compare to the genuine article - why would you want to specifically tailor something that is meant to be random? The whole fun is supposed to be the unpredictability!

And that's the key point, really. Lomo is a bit of fun. Nice to have as a bit on the side, but for me not much more.

I found it something to do in the mid-afternoon, when the light wasn't necessarily right for straight photography... stick a maltreated roll of cheap expired E6 in the holga, and take silly, wonky angled partially blurred or full of lens flare shots, and hope that by luck more than good judgement something beautiful happened. Usually didn't, at least to my tastes, but I learned a lot about colour processing techniques as a by-product

That is what I like to hear- people having FUN with photography!

Exactly - for me it's not a paid job, so If it wasn't fun, i'd sell up now and find something else to try. Fortunately, despite finding it frustrating in parts, when it comes together it's amazing.
