My friend sent me a link to this photography blog and the blogger had written an article about a type of photography called Lomography. Basically what i gather is its like a retro camera which distorts an image in a certain way which i think looks quite cool. heres an example i took of google

I really love it because its the fun of photoshop...without actually needing to know how a computer works what do the rest of you think *link to his blog* http://photographybee.blogspot.com/ his english is probably alot clearer than mine :S

bye!

Have a look in the film and conventional section. My girlfriend is into her lomography, she has a Diana F. It basically a "toy camera" that takes 120 film, with coloured filters for the flash too. The effect you see on many shots is from the light leaking into the camera, due to the flimsy design. You can also double expose the film. It all adds to the effect. I dont really know much about it but some of her pictures have turned out interesting, others not so great!

For some reason the photos in the blogspot does not load for me.

Anyways, I'm also a big fan of Lomo, when I have a bit of spare cash I'm going to get myself one. I just love the effects it produces via the coloured filters and the light leaking gaps.

I just bought a 4 capture camera for £7 which i think is quite a good price for any camera!
here r some of the pics i took im a beginner so most people who take lomography pictures are quite alot better so do google them

LOMO is the new HOOVER i.e. specific brand name applied to a broad range of things. Beh.
