Hi guys
A logo I created in Photoshop (sRGB format) doesn't look so good as a final animated intro (After Effects). Even as a flat title screen used in Nero, the colours look really dull.
I did Google search the problem and think it may be down to my monitor colour profiles? My monitor ICC Profile 'BL2700' relates to the manufacturer I think. There's no other options.
But under the 'All Profiles' tab, there are loads to choose from. I think all I need to do is add and use a profile called sRGB IEC61966-2.1....and it won't kill my monitor will it? :(

While I cannot be 100% certain I don't think it will do any harm. I have a Toshiba laptop and use the sRGB and IEC616... settings too. At one stage I had nothing set in Photoshop and just picked this and it worked fine.

Cheers Edward, I've tried the new colour profile without any flames coming out the back or the monitor :)

No.. and that is what it should be set to, as that's what most people are using any way.
