Loft storage boxes

I'm looking to offload some boxes from the spare bedroom into the loft. Some are important papers, some are textbooks (that I should probably just chuck) and some are photo albums.

I'm keen to prevent damage to the papers and photos. Is there a particular type of box that I should go for?
Or just plastic resealable box?
Do I need to put dessication sachets in?
 
I've been regularly asking the Tesco delivery person if I can keep a box 'to put stuff in the loft in' - they are always happy to oblige. Maybe not entirely legal but they are very useful boxes. (Other grocery delivery companies are available)

I was thinking of something with a lid that would keep out dust but also damp/moisture and protect the documents and photos.
 
We used to use plastic boxes with lids for the stuff we stuck in the loft and never had any issues.

Got four of the larger opaque ones now in the loft. All contain either paperwork or photographs.
The oldest is 12 years.
I do put the sachets of silica gel dessicant inside, and touch wood, everything is just as it was when they went up.

Edit...these are the boxes (the oldest one is slightly different).
And these are the sachets. (From this seller too. Mods, if this isn't OK, please remove.)

Really Useful boxes really are useful.....

I've got a couple I keep the accounts in up in the the loft. Lid locks in place.

The 35 litre ones are a handy size for paperwork. Never bothered with silica for this stuff but you can buy colour changing silica by the kilo on eBay. Put it in old tights - or buy new ones if you're fancy.
 
Why not just put it all in cardboard boxes then put each box in a black bin bag.
 
We've some plastic boxes with lids - some from Ikea and some from local hardware shop, work very well and no issues with them
