Have a week booked at a holiday cottage just outside Canterbury, anyone recommend any good locations, happy to drive 15/20 miles in any direction.

Canterbury in itself is a very good location, If you do not mind a little drive you also have Howletts Wildlife park near Canterbury. Also I can recommend a visit to Whitstable for some coastal shots.

You already have a lot to choose from, but, diffinetly Whitstable it gives you both coastal and architecture, also near to you will be Reculver castle ruins, well worth a trip, the countryside around Reculver can also be interesting.
