turned up at a local cricket match..it was stopped for rain.. then I heard there had been a robbery and players caught the thief... I didnt think much of it.. a few players where on hand so i got them to post with mobiles... I really wasnt into the story so much.. happens a lot changing rooms getting robbed.. theres was only about 40 people at the game :) Now i wish I had got mmore and better...

wow... cricket paper will use it later in week local friday paper have it to use... my regional paper used it on monday and now the Times, telegraph and daily Mail all bought pics:)

Great story with a great ending (Thief being caught red handed) and even better you were there to capture it

These things don't happen often (as in your being there) but enjoy the success of the pic and the money to follow ;)
 
bbc northwest online... I quoted 40 quid for online photo usage.. they go with a 20yr old ground pic found on google... oh dear :)
 
Heard this story on Radio 2 this morning and immediately wondered whether you had been there given that the Club is in your area. Top result!

I would be careful taking photos like this.

You may be sued by the thief for abusing his human rights...

I think you should seek out the tea leaf and buy him a good drink seeing as he was instrumental in your selling success.
