Hi, After an absence of about 4 years I am relearning photography. Back in Oct 2015 I got a streamer to watch ripped DVDs and discovered it was perfect at showing all our digital pictures languishing on our NAS. Then we realised that suddenly about 4 years previously the pictures all but stopped. Mobile phones were to blame.
So I dug my Canon EOS 350 out of the cupboard only to find the batteries no longer held a charge. A week later and Amazon shipped me 3 new batteries. A second hand Canon battery grip quickly followed for £15 courtesy of the bay.
Then at the weekend I felt I really needed a better walkabout lens than the 18-55 my 350D came with. So out came my phone in the pub and next thing I know I had bought a Canon 15-85mm IS USM.
It arrived at work on Wednesday and I had my 350D with me to try it imedidetly only for a colleague at work to ask what was that dangling from my camera. So the neck strap is now in a drawer and my JJC sling is brilliant and I wish I had bought one 19 years ago when I bought my first SLR.
Anyway here I am trying to figure out the exposure triangle all over again.
So be kind to me. I know I have a Canon and my body is old but I am willing to learn. I plan to update my body probably to a 70D maybe second hand but not right now unless I end up in the pub again on a cold Sunday afternoon.
