Anybody going to or at least watching the match today ?

I've got that feeling of excitement mixed with apprehension :runaway:

Being a liverpool fan im not looking forward to watching it to be honest.

I cant see us winning in a million years with the state the team is in at the moment. I can't even see us scraping a draw.

I think the season is pretty much over now. Rafa needs to concentrate on the champions league and the fa cup, etc. At least get some silverware into the cupboard.

You'll have to go some in that competition to get through too, 3 points from 3 games with 3 games left, another loss will probably see you go out!

I'm a United fan and I'm more nervous because of Liverpools current situation as this fixture never seems to go to form. Whilst loosing would be terrible and hard to take I guess it wouldn't be a disaster in terms of league progress.

I think your both right about Liverpool though - a win is very much needed.

As a United fan I always look forward to the Liverpool games but the results have tended to go in Liverpool's favour, despite what the current form suggests. Last time I saw them live, Liverpool won 1-0 at Old Trafford in the 2000/01 season. Last season's drubbing at home was horrendous.

I'm a Liverpool fan and I completely agree. The whole "it will get better" "we can still do it" routine from the management is growing old now.

I'm predicting a Man U win. :(

Liverpool v Man U?

Naaaaah, Pats v Bucs at Wembley is where it's at!

As a neutral, I went to Anfield to see Liverpool play Man Utd a few years ago - great atmosphere, thoroughly enjoyable...Liverpool won. Can't see today's match being quite so good for Liverpool fans...

I had a ticket for the NFLUK game today - been to the other two - but decided to give it up this time around. I'm waiting for the NY Jets to come to town!

I think there's a few thousand Cantona's at expected Anfield today LOL

I am still buzzing after that one :D:lol::cool:

Not a happy bunny here :shake::annoyed:

We really didn't look up for it and for whatever reason Liverpool were better (on the day) and looked hungrier just about everywhere.

Onwards and upwards now :naughty:

It's disappointing but the match turned out pretty much as I expected. Liverpool pressed United and didn't let them settle, very reminiscent of the early days in the Champions League.
