It was never a penalty though, it hit the guy's shoulder but he lifted his arm at the same time and that done him in! The 'Pool are doing well and it is a good match.

Just watched the game on TV. I've never seen Manchester United beaten like that.
 
Sometimes you just have to take defeat on the chin.The ref ruined the game with the sending off of Vidic.I couldnt see Liverpool defending for thirty mins.Being involved on so many fronts takes its toll as Chelsea have found out in recent years.Today too many players had poor games---Rooney and Tevez didnt turn up----Vidic had a shocker----Anderson was woeful but he is young and should come on.The real plonker though was Carrick--I think he was found out today.Hes great in an attacking unit when his passing comes to the fore----but as a holding midfielder he cant cut the mustard when the chips are down.This could just be the wake up call UTD needed-----Lets see whos got what come the end of May.

He was clear through with no other defenders in site, clear oppertunity denied he even tried to grab Torres as he went down for the first goal. Tackle would have been a good un on a rugby pitch though.
 
Yeah, it was a sending off. Vidic was just not himself today. Never mind.
