Live view ISO Question, Canon 5d mk2

Stupid question maybe,

While doing a bit of macro stuff today and using live view to get the focus right I found that if I took a shot whilst still in live view my ISO was up at 4000 and I was unable to adjust it down.

If I turned off live view before I took my shot I could select my ISO as I required as normal, I’m guessing that it’s something stupid that I have adjusted at sometime and that it has to do with the live view settings but I can’t for the life of me find what I’ve done or find any reference in the manual about this.

Guessing you have live view set for stills+movie

Set for stills only and the iso will be back to normal

Cheers for that I did some video a few weeks ago. Knew must be something simple

This forum is really great. I had no idea what caused that to happen but was curious enough to take a peak into what the replies where. Way useful tool this forum is.
