Hello forum,
Noticed today some dust spec that appears only when shooting in live view mode. Shooting through the viewfinder does not reciprocate any dust particles. I doesn't bother me much, though I am curious how this happens? Interesting.
Here's a sample shot.

The distinction between viewing methods makes no sense at all. How the image is viewed makes no difference to the path the light takes to the sensor for the actual capture.
Forit to be resolved at all, You must have dust on the sensor not in the any part of the viewing chain.
The only possible exception is when using a pellicle type semi mirror and an ultra small stop.
but even then dust is rarely if ever resolved, as it is too far from the sensor.
