Anyone had any prints done litho? 250 limited edition sort of thing.
What paper/GSM did you use and did you specify lightfast inks and how many did you mount/frame at once?

no such thing as a litho print when using an inkjet. each print will look the same assuming same ink/paper combo.

Not sure what you are saying..............? That an inkjet print will look the same as a litho offset print? How can the ink be the same?
I am planning to put 3 fairly large prints and 3 around 7x5 of the same on an SRA1 sheet for around 200 sheets and was wondering if anyone had done a print run and what sort of paper/grammage they used and if they went down the specialist lightfast inks route on all 4 colours or just the weaker yell/mag.

litho was done for art when artists wanted to make limited runs of the same image.

either get them made up individually or make a large canvas with everything you want printed at the size you want.

But if I maximise an SRA1 sheet with 6 different images for a print run this would be less costly than going down the inkjet route if I wanted 150 of each image? Or am I missing somthing? You used the past tense when refering to litho prints - are you saying the quality is not up to it or that inkjet is better for small runs (cost effective)?

I must say I am very happy with the injet prints on the Fuji paper but am considering doing a limited litho run.
