Nope its a water drop sat on a cd. I used the 36+20mm extension tubes with the the sigma 24-70mm. I did get a few colourful ones with more than one drop but prefered this one

Thanks Get a glass with a bit of water and equal washing up liquid, then blow some bubbles in it, once you have the bubbles blow gently into them to make one big one. Then you should see the colours moving about on the surface of the bubble making different shapes.

You need to try and get an even layer of light, where i read they used a softbox but i dont own stuff like that so did it my way

Yeah it sits on top of the glass, this is where i saw how to do it, might explain it better than me Create Wonderful Worlds Using Soap Bubbles
