Yep im a sucker for b&w :)

Mellie is a moody cow and likes her own space, shes not keen on the others in the field with her either, they are younger. Shes also not keen on the colder weather, hence the rug already, she was also enjoying the sun we had this morning.

Went to Southwell ploughing match and show today, made myself depressed by seeing the shires, i sooooo want one (ok maybe a couple :p ) i really do have a burning need to own one! My set from today is here but its mainly shires!

The farm took one of their young bulls but he didnt get placed, i say its fixed as he was one of the best builds/ lookers in the ring, plus the judge seemed very very friendly with who did win :suspect:

Then got more depressed as we stopped back at the farm for some beef on the way home and there was 5 buzzards flying low over the feilds/ house, i did pop round and got one or 2 pics but nothing great, i know where they live but they dont let you get close to them!

So as i cant decide on one pic you get a couple.

Saw this on the way out and took it while we was driving down the road :)

Im also very drawn to this one and this one too as you can see there was an issue with busy backgrounds!

Love that mono of the shire horses, such a shame about the background, but not much you can do about that

Thanks, the crap everywhere was doing my nut in but there was no way round it, was more of a busy show than a normal small plough match so to be expected.
 
2nd shot is fantastic Lisa, great angle too, a little unusual and I like that ;)

But yes the frame is a little chunky, the flower needs some space to breath, less is more and all that.

Thanks, wasnt how i had it in my head but had to do, might try again but dont want to cut the flower off the plant yet but saying that i have some ive grown myself about to flower :)
 
That great angle again, water droplets add that little extra, lovely against the dark background too.
 
Really interesting all the angles you've had out of this one flower ;) I do prefer yesterday's shot though.
