81/365 - Chatsworth House

Popped along there today, please please please remind me never to go there again in the summer hols :cuckoo: my god ive only ever seen it that busy for the country fair or horse trials, not on normal days :eek: Much better when the kids are at school :lol:

Two again today, my first time in the gardens :)

Thanks :) It gets turned on just after opening, so if your quick and get out round there before then you would get the shot, otherwise its on all day.

:lol: They have a big step type thing that runs water down it, you can play in that one, i had the thought of popping in that one.
 
First Chatsworth shot looks a little under expossed and hence appears flat and lacking detail in the shadows.

Love the second shot, strong dark moody skies, plus a really nice warm light on the house, excellent :)

The last few days there has been a few kestrels ( 3 together a couple of days ago!) about the woods/ above my head while out seeing Smellie Mellie so today, as i was allowed time for a little walk, i decided to stick the 50-500mm on and get some pics but as my luck is they had other ideas and was off hiding :( Always happens to me :bonk:

Anyway this is now todays shot, large version here

Well plant or buy some then and kill the spiders why your at it :lol:

I have to use the allotment for most my flowers as i dont have a backgarden as such, which i really hate :thumbsdown:

Thank you :) It made the mistake of coming in with the flowers i cut :lol: Im trying to do different shots of things i would normally take and not just another normal ladybird looking at you shot :)
 
My shot for yesterday is going to be pretty poor.
Just hoping to get something ok later on for today.

The spider would have been waiting, ready to pounce. Just out of eye shot, as you are about to put the camera to your eye, they strike.....
