I was recommended on here to buy a grip for my D90 from Link Delight on ebay. I see they are good priced but I also notice they are imported from China

So I just wanted to ask what people paid including delivery (what was the customs charges) the grip is only £24

Also how long did delivery take ?

Hi brought mine from them, and thats all I paid, no extras. I took a couple of weeks to arrive and I love it.

Excellent thank you, I was about to order when I saw were it was from and did not want to be stung on the importing.

Wonder how they get around the import duty ?? :suspect:

Technically you are due to pay duty on all commercial imports, but what a lot of the HK sellers do with items like that is mark them as a gift and they get in under the lower limit where tax is payable.

Thanks, yeah it does say that they will send as gift. They also said you can pay for insurance/ tracking but there was no option for this when paying

Not sure about anyone else, perhaps I'm just unlucky, but whenever I've been given a tracking number by a HK seller, it has been useless once the item has left HK.

I've never been charged any duty on the ~20 items I've bought from HK (some of them from LinkDelight) over the past year or so.

And the grips are of a good quality. Can't remember what I paid though.
