The TP52 - 2026 Lindsay's 52 for 26 - Week 6 Looking Through

Great to see a bit of sun, blue sky here as well in North Wales- just for today though

Yes, it's very nice here and the temperature is up to 11 degrees, balmy after recent weather. However we have a new rain and wind warning for tomorrow night/Friday now!

The second one for me Lindsay, look almost like it was taken on the Med

We are very lucky in that respect here, quite often the sea and sky are a lovely blue and the green of the fields...I love where I live! Although lately it's been a succession of storms with heavy rain and high winds - but I think most of us have had that.

Works really well Lindsay, what a great path to take your dog on, my little guy loves the woodland paths where I am.

Rainy ay - well, after having a couple of ideas, I had a very wet and windy walk with the dogs today and didn't really feel like venturing out again with a camera, so I took the lazy option of showing how rainy it was by shooting through the window, but focusing on the window rather than what was outside it:

Well, the theme was your choice, you ordered the weather for us Lindsay :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:
I know it's all personal choice, but I might have been temped to do a square crop into the green part of #2 rather than the portrait version.

I've been out three times with the dog today and it's got progessivelly wetter.
Your shot works well with the theme and I tend to agree with Tim on the crop.

Hmmmm... neither are in focus for me. No1 is better :)

I know, I know, and I agree with the crop suggestion now you mention it.

I agree - seeing them larger, I think I missed the focus point - I had to ficus ion the window frame then move the composition. I should have focused manually. Lesson learned - and that, surely, is one of the good things about a challenge!

Aye that does it.

@LC2 correct, the first was my favourite but all I did there was a tweak of WB and some cropping and dehazng. On No 2 there was a slight crop and dehaze

It is a cracking butchers in a larger deli in Lisburn, but we do have a lot of excellent independent butchers over here.

I think that you chose the right shot for you rainy submission Lindsay, the subtle green really makes it for me. Your "through" shot is spot on.

I like that the shop is called Greens (which makes me think of a greengrocer), but it's a photo of meat.

Makes me want to call in for a couple of pork pies, yum yum _ a tasty photo
