Hi folks...

I've had this a wee while and although the online Adobe LR2 resource is pretty good, I wondered what books you recommend?

atm, I'm looking at the book written by Scott Kelby currently on offer 'new' at Amazon for £15.94 inc. shipping..... Not a bad price, but is it the pick of the crop and easy to follow/digest?

the klby book is a winner free as an e book if your willing to use torrent sites...

Cheers for the feedback so far folks, thanks!
Any chance of elaboration regarding what stands out about either of the above books (ease of use/ layout/ results you got/ etc....).

I've got both the Kelby book and Evening's one. Both are excellent in different ways. Kelby tells it like (he thinks) it is - straightforward "do this, then do this and don't whatever you do, do this" advice. But perhaps he isn't quite as comprehensive as you'd like.

Evening's book is a bit more technical and not so easy to follow, but goes the extra step in detail that I need after trying Kelby's advice. Not sure I always follow quite what he means.

If you are newish to Lightroom then Kelby is probably what you want. I'd try that first and if you find it limiting take the step up to Evening's book - I think I got mine bundled together from Amazon which would be another option.

Cheers for the advice folks...
Although there's some out there in e-book format I do prefer the real thing to pick up and flick through. Ian, ta for the critique on both, I'll order the Kelby book and put Evening's one on the back-burner for now
