I'd like to see better keywording facilities - something like Image Keyworder built in would be good. Layers would also be useful.

You've got keywords, tagging, and keyword searching via the library module (as well as metadata searching). Layers doesn't fit the idea behind Lightroom, which is a cataloging and 'minor' editing package. It's designed for a fast workflow and etailed editing is best done in a more powerful, dedicated application (photoshop?) which it links with seemlessly.

yep - agree with that - I use it for 95% of my work. Keywording facilities could be better though.
