Lightroom v3 bargain

Just for your interest - tried entering the code on the online store - not a valid code.

It's definitely K2ET.....

Reading the small print now it suggests that the offer may only be available to those who are already registered with Adobe - In other words to those who already have PS or LR.... if so its just plain daft.

theres been quite a few reports of this, from what i understand you either have to phone and quote that code or use the link in the email to buy. only open to those who receive emails from adobe.

You may have more than two computers?

edit: Anyway, I've not received an email and I've had Lightroom since v1.0 and Photoshop since Britain was occupied by the Romans.

I'm a registered user of Lightroom 3, photoshop Cs 4 & Cs 5, didn't get the email.
I do get offers to buy photoshop again, but nothing cheaper

Called to enquire about this offer, was asked if I'd recieved the email, to which I replied I hadn't. He explained it was to select customers.
He then offered it to me at 30% discount making it £174 inc VAT.
Which I politely turned down, pointing out that the US price was at about £110.
Goes to show, that if you do call, there's some wiggle room on the price.

The last time they did this in Feb from memory they e-mailed elements users with an offer of CS5 at half price.

If anyone else got the code and won't use it... can I please have it? :/

From the email they sent me

Only £79.00* (excl. VAT) after instant discount.
Ends 7 June, 2011.

To receive the discount, you must purchase through the buy button in this e-mail or call 0800 0280148 for Adobe Direct Sales and mention offer code K91A.

You can have my code if you want it. If you need the email link then just PM me.

Still £50 more than Apple Aperture after you've added the VAT.

I'm sorry for misunderstanding, I should mention which code I would love to get. I'm interested in Lightroom 3 code. It would be so nice to get it for £70... ;) but £118 + VAT will do :)

Is this a sign that LR4 is just round the corner?

YES! Well worth the extra for the lens correction feature, if nothing else.
The code I got was K2ET for the 40% off. I haven't used it. Good luck....

Hi Jerry that's the number you yourself would quote if you called Adobe to claim the offer, you need to include the link they sent to you in the email, that link has the promo code embedded, which is unique, and can only be used once. So if you don't mean to use it, you should post the link, so someone else can take advantage (as I did when James posted his).

V3 is much better than V2, camera profiles, lens correction, watermarking.

If you've got V2 then you can just pay the upgrade price, I think it's £80

I'd like to see better keywording facilities - something like Image Keyworder built in would be good. Layers would also be useful.

Sorry, I can't work out which link to post.......

Or maybe I'm posting the correct link wrongly....

Derrrrr......

I have just used whiteflyer's code. THANK YOU!
£100.93 in total, inc. shipping.

Got my copy delivered today and waiting at home so someone can have my code if they want, first come first served, no guarantees that it will work, at your own risk YMMV etc etc....

Its the £118+vat option so should be around £141.60.

First reply here gets it and I'll PM the link to keep the thread clean.

Nick.

PM'd

Also I was just registered with Adobe for emails, up till a day or two ago I'd never bought Adobe software, so I've no idea why I got the offer.
