Hi.

Many of you may see light room as a valuable tool when shooting. I just though of something that I cant seem to figure out.

With Phocus for the Hassies it seems to work as both lightroom and a type of camera utility. You can control camera settings and use it to preview and import files while shooting tethered.

Why doesn't Lightroom have similar utilities? Is there some kind of plugin that will allow users to control camera while shooting tethered in lightroom?

Canon utilities does give you this control. You can arrange for the target folder to be the Lightroom watched folder and just view this for normal shooting but switch to the canon software when you need camera controls. OK it's not "all under one roof" approach but it does work.

I use a Camranger system ( Wireless ) and use the Camranger software for capture when needed and then get it to transfer to the Lightroom folder. Works fine .
