Folks,
I have a Fuji X-E3 on the way. This doesn't have the X Trans sensor. I use LR 5 and would appreciate thoughts on how good a job I should expect of RAW processing. I love Fuji jpegs colour but usually prefer to shoot RAW.
Thoughts?

It does an X-Trans sensor - XTrans 3

You will not be able to import the RAWs directly into lightroom 5, but you can use Adobe's free DNG converter to convert them from RAW -> DNG and then import the DNG's into LR5. Alternatively upgrade to a subscription Lightroom.

There are also other software solutions available either to fully process or convert the RAWs so legacy versions of lightroom will work

See this thread (started a mere 2 days ago for more info) https://www.talkphotography.co.uk/threads/fuji-raw-what-software-do-you-use-and-why.688583/

Thanks, that's helpful. I meant it doesn't have the Bayer sensor. Oops. Going to digest the other thread now.

I thought all X series bodies had the X trans sensor (hence the "X" in the name) ??

Actually yes, I was right originally. It doesn't, it has the Bayer
