I've just noticed and it may have been there for some but Lightroom now has a "stack" and "panoramic" feature within it. Ive used Photoshop before to create panoramic but never lightroom. Has anyone used the Lightroom function for either stacking or panoramic?

From what I can see Lightroom offers after creating a Panoramic a Raw file so better for any additional editing. Just curious about peoples experiences have been using it

I use the pano feature pretty much exclusively as it delivers excellent results (IMO) without having to go into PS. Same goes for the HDR function which simply blends the exposures without all the tricky special effects you may see in other programs. All I want from an HDR is a simple exposure blend and LR does it very well. The Nik version is free now if you want more funky results.

Stacking is used to group images together. Typically you might use it to stack an original, and various virtual copies you're working on. Working with stacks can be a pain though as you can't stack images that are in different folders and I get problems when I'm in collections. I use it quite a bit for stacking soft proof copies of an image with different settings for different papers.
