OK, being a bit of a bimbo when it comes to doing new things with my Mac, I today bought an hdmi cable so I can run the macbookpro through a TV screen to show pictures [at wedding fairs will be main useage, rather than full viewings, prefer the iMac screen for that]
So, Got it all set up and tried first of all to use the slideshow feature in Lightroom - the problem I am having is that even with the lightroom window showing on the TV screen, when I click slideshow, it is showing it on the MBP screen, and there seems to be no way to drag it over to the 2nd screen.
So, I had a quick go with Preview, works perfectly, but the slideshow runs a bit too quickly, about 2secs an image and some googling says this cannot be adjusted as it is only a very basic program - fair enough.
So, is there a better way? Does anyone know either, how I can get the LR slideshow to be on the 2nd screen.... or, other programs that are free or cheap [as it will only be used infrequently] that can do this. I know I could just mirror the screens, but in an ideal world I would like to keep the mpb screen clear for checking calendars and noting leads down on.
Oh, for extra info, there will be no internet access so it must be something I can actually install
