Lightroom settings?

when i open photos in Lightroom it automatically changes them does anyone know why this is? and how do i stop it from doing it?

In what way does it change them? Perhaps you have an import preset?

yes kinda thank you Garry and no import preset has been selected it changes the colour and tone usual decreases the exposure

Do you shoot in RAW? As when LR is generating the RAW previews it changes from Jpeg preview to Flat RAW which looks different.
