Hi guys
I just have a question regarding lightroom on 2 different formats.
I have an external hard drive with my lightroom catalog attached to the windows laptop..
I have used this to backup all my files but I'd like to use this catalog on my Mac now as this is where I will be editing the images from now on.
I did read that OS X can't natively write to NTFS formatted drives like the one I am using so I would need to offload all my images onto the Mac and re-format to FAT32.
So after doing this, does that mean that if I wanted to backup my files on location using this same extrernal hard drive, I would have to format it back to NTFS to make it possible?
Seems a bit annoying that this has to happen if this is the case.
Any ideas round this? or do I really have to take this approach?
Thanks
